At the end of 2024, I began following a unique journey—one that tested not just physical endurance, but the strength of teamwork and spirit. The documentary, Leave No One Behind, chronicles the incredible lead-up to RUNLIGA Team Race 800km, the world’s first team race, organized by BiiB.
When the event’s founder approached me with the idea, I was immediately drawn to it—not just because of the scale of the race, but because of the heart behind it. I spent months documenting the training, strategy sessions, and emotional highs and lows of multiple running teams, leading up to race day in February 2025.
With cameras and drones, we covered key moments on the race day from different angles. Then came the real marathon—sifting through footage and crafting a story that reflects not just competition, but sportsmanship, friendship, and resilience.
The final 20-minute documentary follows the grit and glory of the participants, and how last year’s champions defended their title. Now completed, Leave No One Behind is set to premiere on the big screen with the runners themselves. I hope the story inspires others just as much as it inspired me to tell it.
