As the Line Producer for Earth Day Stories: Nat Geo Presents, I coordinated multi-country shoots during the challenging times of the pandemic.
This four-part mini-documentary series features inspiring environmental efforts from across Asia — from Karen Chan in Hong Kong, who revives abandoned neon signs, to Hans Tan in Singapore, who breathes new life into forgotten Peranakan antiques. The series also brings Louise Mabulo from the Philippines to Malaysia, where she collaborates with renowned local chef Darren Teoh to explore how native ingredients can help reduce carbon footprints. We also follow Alena Murang from Borneo, who uses the soulful sounds of the sape to advocate for environmental awareness.
Despite strict travel restrictions, I worked closely with international crews in Hong Kong, Thailand, and the UK through remote coordination. This project taught me that environmental heroes are everywhere — and even small actions can make a big difference.
